Chef Marlene Barber has worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry for 15yrs. She was born and raised in Statesville, NC to a family that gave her room to pursue her passion for cooking. After her parents and teachers realized her potential she joined clubs such as ProStart and FCCLA to gain knowledge and to connect the dots between agriculture, community health, and consumer sciences.
